My 21st Birthday

So, today is my 21st birthday & my facebook page is blowing up like crazy!!!  I guess I created this blog just in time.  A new age represents growth and maturity.  Your life should be changing for the better; 21 is an "official" adult.  I honestly don't think i'm going to get crunk tonight or party til 6am.  I'm going to chill and work on the project i've already been working on.  Setting up these grind time battles, and reading these business books.  I can't loose focus now, i have a great idea that im going to run with.  What is this idea???  I guess you have to keep reading and find out (read the context clues)!

So, in light of my birthday I guess i'll "freestyle" a poem

21 Years Young

Some say im 21 years old
I say im 21 years young
See "old" is a word that is commonly connected with a stereotype in our society
old is outdated
old is rusty
old is out of shape
old is the exact opposite of what I am
I am full of life
And mentally im in the best shape of my life
Physically i need to loose a few pounds, but thats not the point (lol)
So if you see someone on their birthday don't ask "how old are you"
because you're old when you choose to be old, old occurs right before its almost over
ask how "young"
because "young" is full of life & young is the future

-Drect

umm.....i don't know if i like this.  I kind of went the non-rhyming route with this post.  But it's all good it was a freestyle.

I hate when people ask me if I "feel 21"  HELL NAW!  I still feel like im in high school.  But I am more mature which is good.  Im so focused.  If I stay this way I could be financially stable by 22 (school loans paid off and everything) and rich by 25.  I hope ...
